Osaka, Kansai	Japan
Pune	India
Result

"Osaka, Kansai",Japan
Pune,India

When to use it

  • Saving spreadsheet selections as CSV quickly.
  • Converting .tsv exports for import tools.
  • Preparing data for CSV-only APIs.

Tip: If a column contains tabs inside values, the TSV must quote them; otherwise those values split into extra columns.

Correct quoting

Values containing commas, quotes or line breaks are wrapped in quotes as RFC 4180 requires.

Spreadsheet clipboard

Paste cells copied from Excel or Google Sheets; they arrive as TSV.

Values unchanged

Numbers, IDs and dates are copied exactly as text.

Download as .csv

Save a file ready for imports and other tools.

FAQ

Common questions

Where does TSV come from?

Spreadsheet clipboards, database clients, many scientific tools and .tsv exports.

How are commas inside values handled?

The value is quoted, for example "Osaka, Kansai", so it stays in one column.

Can I choose another delimiter?

For semicolons, open the result in the CSV tools and re-export, or use the delimiter options in the other converters.

Is it private?

Yes, the conversion runs in your browser.
